How holidays work
On every enabled date below, AVA treats the whole day (midnight to midnight, Toronto time) like a Saturday or Sunday: the weekend rules apply around the clock, so alarms are called about all day. The evening before runs as usual (after-hours rules from 6 PM).
Use the observed day off. Example: Boxing Day 2026 falls on a Saturday, so the day off is Monday, December 28. Changes take effect within a minute. Every change is recorded with your login.
